We only collect the information we need to respond to your enquiry and carry out work at your property. That is usually provided directly by you through our quote form, by phone, or by email.

• Your phone number and, where you provide it, your email address
• Details of the job you are enquiring about, including appliance and system information
• Records of the work we carry out, including certificates such as gas safety records
• Basic technical information collected automatically by the website, such as pages visited

How we use your information

• To prepare and send you a quote for the work you have asked about
• To arrange appointments and carry out the work at your property
• To issue certificates, invoices and receipts, and to keep our own job records
• To respond to questions, warranty claims and guarantee requests after a job is finished
• To meet our legal and safety obligations, including gas safety record keeping

Our lawful basis

Where you ask us for a quote or book work, we process your information because it is necessary to take steps at your request and to perform our contract with you. Where we keep gas safety records, we do so to meet legal obligations. Where we hold information for our own legitimate interests, such as keeping records of past jobs so we can support a guarantee claim, we limit this to what is reasonably necessary.

We do not send marketing messages to people who have not asked for them, and we do not sell your information to anyone.

Who we share it with

We keep sharing to a minimum. Your information may be handled by service providers that we use to run the business, such as our website and enquiry form provider, our email provider and our accounting software. These providers act on our instructions.

We may also share information where the law requires it, for example gas safety records provided to a landlord or to the relevant safety authorities, and where necessary to register a boiler and its manufacturer warranty on your behalf.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept only for as long as they are useful to follow up, and then deleted. Records relating to completed work, invoices and safety certificates are kept for as long as we are required to keep them for legal, tax, insurance and guarantee purposes.

Keeping your information secure

We use reputable providers, keep access limited to the people in our team who need it, and do not keep payment card details on file. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us.

Cookies and the website

Our website uses only the cookies and similar technologies needed to make the site work and to understand how it is being used. Our contact page also embeds a Google map, which is provided by Google and may set cookies of its own. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may then not work as intended.

Your rights
